Saturday, 25 August 2012

A thrilling encounter at Compton Park saw the spoils shared.

Ben Foster's eighteenth minute Cogenhoe opener direct from a free kick was matched by Luke Toner's headed equaliser in the final minute of the first half.

Boston grabbed the initiative on resumption with Matt Barber scoring their second goal after 51 minutes and Simon Mowbray adding a visiting third from close range four minutes later.

Darren Frost hauled Cogenhoe on terms with a double strike after 58 and 65 minutes. He showed neat footwork to open his account and followed up with a header.

With 89 minutes played Lewis Leslie rounded off a good move by scoring a goal which looked like winning the contest for the home side.

Boston didn't give up though and Josh Ford scored following a corner two minutes into time added to even the score.
