Deeping turned in a champion like performance at Willen Road to put recent indifferent results behind them.

David Cobb gave Rangers the lead four minutes in, and Sam Bettinson added a second five minutes into the second half.

Newport had penalty claims for handball rejected but Richard Armstrong put the Swans back in the game with a low shot from inside the box after 63 minutes. Five minutes later Cobb restored Deeping's two goal lead.

Bettinson scored his second for the visitors with ten minutes remaining and the scoring was completed six minutes from time by John-Paul Duncliffe who fired home from the edge of the box.
