Wootton Blue Cross  0    Holbeach United  5

Saturday, 13 October 2007

The Tigers ran riot in the second half to sink their out of sorts hosts.

An end to end first period saw Nick Keeble have a header cleared off the line for Holbeach and Krysztof Karpiuk net for Wootton only to be flagged offside. Scott McGregor hit the visiting crossbar late in the half.

Andy Lodge broke the deadlock from Mark Thompson's pass after 57 minutes but it was Omar Joof's 75th minute effort, set up by Lodge, which opened the floodgates as Blue Cross crumbled. Matt Oswin put his name on the scoresheet  direct from a free kick with ten minutes to play and Lodge scored his second in the 90th minute, reacting smartly to finish after Shaun Keeble's effort rebounded from the home crossbar.

Liam Nimmo had the last word a minute into time added on at the end of the game.
