Mid table Roman Glass travelled to Frys today and came away with a 5 1 win. They started the game much brighter than Frys and within ten minutes had taken a 2 0 lead. The first goal came from a corner and the second from a free kick. Frys then started to play and scored to make it 2-1 going into halftime. In a much more evenly contested second half Roman Glass soaked up all the Frys pressure and then went on to score a further 3 goals before the final whistle. In this period Frys had chances but were unable to find the net. The Roman Glass scorers were Dan Crossland 2, Greg Edgar 2, Lewis Jones. Frys consolation goal came from Mike Micciche |
