United's first league game under their new name ended in stalemate as Sileby fought back after the break to share the spoils.

James Alger in the visiting goal was kept busy early on, his best save from a Jamie Jollands free kick.

Daventry went ahead after 28 minutes through Richard Pannell who turned in Wayne Richardson's free kick from close range but former Royal Oak Way man Damon Black popped up at the back post to score a 71st minute equaliser for Sileby.
