Potton slumped to a fourth successive defeat as they were outgunned by visiting Spencer whose win was their first at The Hollow since the Royals returned to the top flight.

Scott Marshall gave the Millers a twelfth minute lead and they took a stranglehold on the contest by the interval. Shaun Daly doubled the visitors' lead after 33 minutes and Phil Cassidy added a 41st minute third from the penalty spot.

Ben Gallant opened the Royals' account five minutes after the restart after Shilbu Miah's effort was blocked on the line but Spencer were home and dry when Karl Bates scored their fourth goal after 65 minutes. Gallant scored a second for Potton from close range after 70 minutes but it was too late to influence the outcome.
