Newport overturned a two goal deficit to take the points against the Wakes at Willen Road.

Keith Gray gave the visitors a first minute lead, turning in Jason Gough's corner at the near post but five minutes later Drew Mitten levelled for the Swans, punishing hesitancy in the visiting defence.

Simon Barrick put Bourne back in front on the half hour from a Robbie Pearce cross and a minute before the interval Scott Spearink added a third for the Wakes, heading in Pearce's corner. A 45th minute reply from Martin Kelly from Rob Macdonald's pass gave Newport a lift as the contest reached half time.

Mitten equalised after 65 minutes with a cracking strike from 20 yards and the comeback was completed with two more late goals for the Swans. Mitten completed his hat trick from close range following a corner after 85 minutes and substitute Karl Kiernan made the points safe a minute from time with a well executed volley.
