A devastating first half performance by Town took them to the top of Division One.

Defender Chris Godwin gave Daventry a first minute lead and Sileby faced an uphill task after Danny Finlay doubled the visitors' lead five minutes in.

Richard Wesley made it three after 22 minutes with his sixth domestic goal of the season, while inevitably Tom Berwick joined the scoring spree. His first goal arrived after 33 minutes and his second and eighth of the season followed seven minutes before the interval.
