Wednesday, 26 September 2007

Sleaford breezed into the last eight of the competition with a comfortable home victory.

Jamie Shaw opened the scoring after 17 minutes with a tap in after the visiting keeper failed to hold a Matt Lunn shot and five minutes later Mick Stones added a second, collecting a Matt Hodgkin cross and turning sharply to shoot home.

Stones wrapped up the win three minutes into the second half with a fine strike after Shaw intercepted an underhit back pass.
