Fry Colts  4    Castle Court United  6

Sunday, 12 September 2004

Frys Colts and Castle Court United provided a ten-goal thriller, spoilt only by the high winds. Frys started well taking full advantage of the weather conditions and scoring three goals within the first twenty minutes through Mark Webb, Simon Hunter and Michael Micciche. Castle Court replied soon after with a good run into the area by Scott Lewis who placed the ball into the bottom corner of the net. Castle Court then maintained the pressure and the scores were levelled before halftime with two well-taken goals from Kevin Williams. Frys started the second half the brighter of the sides but Castlecourt managed to turn it around and put the pressure back onto Frys. The deadlock was broken by a superb 25-yard free kick from Josh Macey and this was followed by another for Kevin Williams. Frys broke away and pulled one back through Shane Millard. A well worked throw in left Kevin Williams in plenty of space allowing him to score his fourth and Castle Courts sixth goal late in the match.
