After two cup defeats Boston Town's 100% record came to grief as Potton's new look side stormed to victory.

Ben Gallant fired the Royals into a 25th minute lead volleying home from a John Mulholland free kick and the contest was all but over by the break as two more goals followed from the visitors.

Kwame Hoyte scored Potton's second goal cutting in to net following a fine right wing run after 34 minutes and on the stroke of half time Jason Thomas added a third with the aid of a deflection of Ross Don-Duncan.

With five minutes remaining Gallant's second completd the scoring.
