A powerful first half display by Corinths took them through to Round Two.

Sam Johnson opened the scoring after ten minutes, netting from ten yards after Tom Judge and Phil Cox combined.  Dave Briffa added a second eight minutes later, following up to score after Tom Johnson took a return pass from Kevin Fox to test the keeper from 25 yards.

Jay Vieira replied for Norpol with a shot from outside the box after 27 minutes but on the half hour Tom Johnson restored the two goal margin, collecting Pete Callan's flick and holding off a defender's challenge.

Three minutes before the interval Sam Johnson netted number four for Corinthians after Tom Johnson was thwarted by the keeper and Callan joined the scoring spree after 65 minutes, heading in Tom Johnson's corner at the near post.

Vieira scored a Norpol consolation eleven minutes from time.
