North Beds Charity Cup
Semi Final

Langford  2    Stotfold  1

Tuesday, 29 April 2008

Stotfold missed out on a second cup final as Langford avenged two earlier defeats by the Eagles.

Ricky Case gave Stotfold the lead after eleven minutes, converting a Callum Donnely cross from the right but they were sunk by former Roker favourite Wes Byrne who levelled a minute before the interval with a low shot under Eagles keeper Brad Gillham and followed up with the decisive goal twelve minutes from time after good work on the left by another former Stotfold man Adam Pitcairn..
