This Lincoln Road reverse saw Blue Cross condemned to a bottom two finish while Stones need four points from their final two games to pip Long Buckby to the runners up medals.

Stones quickly grabbed the initiative taking a third minute lead through top scorer Phil Stebbing, and they went further in front through Ashley Stevens after 17 minutes.

Dan Cotton extended the lead seven minutes into the second half.

Scott McGregor reduced the deficit with a 65th minute reply for Blue Cross but sixty seconds later Luke Kennedy restored the three goal margin.
