In an unpleasant cutting cross wind Fry Colts and Yate Rangers played out a 2-2 draw. Frys drew first blood and took the lead after 15 minutes with a Garry Snook goal and the game remained at this score until half time. Shortly after half time Yate equalised with a lucky goal from Dan Hill but their joy was short lived as Frys came back at them to restore the one goal lead through Simon Hunter. With 20 minutes to go Yate attacked down the right through winger Ashley Slade and his cross to far post was chested down by Luke Parsons who then looped the ball over the advancing keeper to find the net. The stalemate in the score line remained until the final whistle. |
