Saturday, 05 April 2008

There was no repeat of the recent 14 goal Ford Meadow thriller but the Robins won't mind after claiming only their second win in nine games, both goals arriving from set pieces.

Joel McCormick's 19th goal of the season put Buckingham ahead on the quarter hour and Keith Newby added a second for the visitors five minutes later.

Andy Dobbs replied for Thrapston ten minutes before the break but the home side failed to make second half pressure count and they're now without a win in six games.
