Tuesday, 20 September 2011

Early season pacesetters Wellingborough are now without a win in four games after coming off second best to the Swans.

A Dominic Lawless double after 15 and 54 minutes gave Newport their third win on the road, maintaining their 100% record on their travels.

The opening goal was set up by a Daren Dykes flick, and when he set up another opening for Lawless the latter fired against the post.

Newport had Richard Armstrong dismissed before Lawless extended the lead after latching onto a flick on.

Josh McAdoo's fine save denied Chris Di Fante a Doughboys consolation.
