AFC Kempston Rovers  1    Newport Pagnell Town  3

Saturday, 15 March 2008

Kempston are certain to finish at the bottom of the Premier Division after this defeat.

It all started well enough for the Walnut Boys as they took a third minute lead through Paul Teague who headed in from Luke Williamson's cut back, but Drew Mitten equalised for Newport on the half hour, slotting home after a good run by Vinny Shrieves.

Two goals in three minutes late on gave the Swans maximum points. James Fletcher put them in front from the penalty spot after 77 minutes following a foul by Teague on Shrieves, with Shrieves making the points safe ten minutes from the end, heading home from six yards at the far post.
