Star completed a double over the Robins after scoring four goals in the last quarter of the game.
Star's Ali Nyang was closest to a first half goal with a shot which was cleared off the line.
The Robins were reduced to ten men early in the second half when Reuben Max-Grant was red carded.
Chris Plummer broke the deadlock after 68 minutes with a header from a corner and he was joined on the scoresheet by fellow defender Paul Hill who headed in a Ronnie Fortune centre five minutes later.
With five minutes to play substitute Ryan Francis made it three for the visitors with a well taken goal and top scorer Karl Gibbs took his goal tally for the campaign to 20 with the last visiting goal in the final minute, rounding home keeper Josh McAdoo to slot home.
