Long Buckby  2    Sleaford Town  2

Saturday, 15 September 2007

This game was delayed after Sleaford were held up en route by a road accident, but they produced a determined display to pick up a point at Station Road.

Buckby opened up a two goal first half lead with Jason Lee's 17th minute opener direct from a free kick awarded for a foul on Jon Crockett followed by a Ben Foster effort a minute past the half hour, the striker slotting home after Kevin Slinn intercepted a back pass..

Jason Sedlan replied for the Lincolnshire visitors after 41 minutes after Michael Stones flicked on for Matt Lunn to cross, and a goalline clearance denied Robin Holderness an equaliser before the break.

Stones levelled four minutes into the second half from a Holderness pass.
