Buckingham Town  4    Whitworths  1

Saturday, 08 March 2008

The Flourmen crashed to a fifth successive defeat as the Robins found their goal touch.

Buckingham made a great start. They went ahead five minutes in through Nick Bines and doubled their lead after ten minutes through Keith Newby.

James Daldy reduced the arrears on the hour but two minutes later Joel McCormick restored Buckingham's two goal margin.

McCormick's second goal five minutes from time sealed victory and there was still time for the young striker to miss on a hat trick after failing to convert a late penalty.
