Sleaford avenged an early season home defeat by the Walnut Boys with this Hillgrounds success.

Jamie Shaw had already hit the post for Sleaford before Matt Lunn gave the visitors a fifth minute lead, cutting in from the left to score with a right footed shot, and they went further in front through John Edwards who converted a Shaw through ball after 26 minutes.

Kempston replied five minutes later through Darren Farrar, who converted from the spot after Kris Jones brought down Matt Cheveralls.

The Walnut Boys had the bulk of the second half possession but were unable to square the match.
