Saturday, 08 March 2008

Eynesbury extended their unbeaten run to five matches but were forced to dig deep against improving Burton Park who are now in the bottom two on goal difference alone.

Pete Callan gave the visitors the lead nine minutes before the break, firing home at the second attempt following a right wing build up, but in the second half Brett Bellamy netted a 70th minute equaliser for Rovers, tapping in at the far post afterSam Kingston flicked on a free kick.

An eventful second half for Bellamy saw him denied a second goal by an apparent handball on the line, he was cautioned for disputing the decision to play on and then received a second caution late on.
