Cogenhoe United  2    Wootton Blue Cross  2

Saturday, 01 March 2008

A draw at Compton Park moved Wootton out of the drop zone but they will view it as two points lost after Malcolm Ndekwe salvaged a point for the Cooks in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

Rob Foster gave Cogenhoe the lead after nine minutes, firing home from the edge of the box but after the break Blue Cross fought back. Craig Daniel equalised twenty seconds after the restart and Gavin Batt gave them the lead on the hour, unning through to finish confidently in a one on one with the goalkeeper. Victory beckoned for the relegation haunted visitors until Ndekwe's late intervention
