Boston found their goal touch to sink battle weary St Ives at Westwood Road.

Laszlo Lovas gave the Poachers an 11th minute lead after good work by Paul Goodhand and Greg Brown and two goals late in the half gave Boston a stranglehold on the match.

Goodhand scored the visitors' second goal after 36 minutes and Brown added a third three minutes later.

Lovas scored Boston's fourth goal after 55 minutes after a quick counter attack involving Mbiyeye Medine, Mark Foster and Goodhand before Will Fordham cut the deficit with a 78th minute consolation for St Ives.
