A contest switched to Sergeant's Lawn at 24 hours notice provided lively fare for the spectators present.

Chris Torrence gave Corinths a fourth minute advantage but giant striker Reuben Max-Grant hauled the Robins on terms after 17 minutes.

Ten minutes later Buckingham player manager Tony Joyce gave his side the lead with a 25 yard free kick, but Kevin Fox equalised with ten minutes of the first half remaining.

Corinths took the lead through Andy White after 40 minutes but the Robins squared the match a minute into the second half through Chris Robson's penalty.
