These sides played out an Occupation Road stalemate, a third draw of the season for S&L and a fourth for Buckby.

After a scoreless first half Sean Brennan gave the home side the lead four minutes after the restart after latching onto a crossfield pass and cutting in from the right to fire past Martyn Margarson. Buckby, who had enjoyed the bulk of the possession, snatched an equaliser after 86 minutes, Kevin Slinn the scorer, controlling a Danny Duggan cross on his chest and beating Richard Lavin with a left footed shot.
