Desborough extended their unbeaten start to five matches by sharing the spoils with county rivals Wellingborough at the Dog & Duck, but on chances created it should have been a three point haul for Steve Noble's men.

John Hughes in the home goal twice saved well from Michael Byrne while Danny Pownall, Jamie O'Neill and Stuart McClarty all missed good openings for Ar Tarn.

Late on Rob Gould almost snatched an undeserved win for Wellingborough, heading against the crossbar from Alfie Taylor's cross.

The Doughboys trail their visitors by three points in mid table.
