Hengrove ran out comfortable 4:1 winners over Fry Colts today with goals from Scott Lewis 2, Liam Farmer and Jon Readings. Hengrove took control right from the start and missed numerous chances before Liam Farmer got on the end of a Luke Lipinski cross after 15minutes. Hengrove then missed yet more chances before Scott Lewis fired home from the edge of the box. Hengroves dominance continued even further when Jon Readings scored a rare headed goal to give a 3:0 advantage at half time. The second half began the same as the first half finished with Hengrove attacking and they were rewarded when Scott Lewis scored his second with a 25-yard drive into the roof of the net. Credit to Fry?s they kept working hard and were rewarded with a goal 20 minutes from time. Hengrove then continued to press and should have scored on more than one occasion before full time. |
