Bourne Town  1    Northampton Spencer  3

Saturday, 02 February 2008

Two late goals gave Spencer revenge for a December home loss to the Wakes.

New recruit Lee Croft gave Bourne the lead after 39 minutes after good work by strike partner Liam Palmer, but two minutes later Matt Collins put the Millers on terms after latching onto a clearance from defence.

With time running out Spencer grabbed the initiative. Kevin Slinn put them in front after 85 minutes following a corner with substitute Darren Frost wrapping up the win in the final minute after a swift counter attack.

The Wakes were left to rue unsuccessful penalty claims between Spencer's second and third goals after Palmer went down in the box.
