The Waldocks shared the goals as United continued their push for a quick return to the top flight.

Midfielder Ian gave Daventry a tenth minute lead from a Joel Young centre and he added a second on the half hour, firing home from twenty yards via the post.

Reuben Max-Grant replied for the Robins from close range within a minute but leading scorer Tommy Waldock restored Daventry's two goal margin ten minutes before the break, rounding the keeper to slot home.

With sixteen minutes remaining Tommy Waldock's 19th goal of the season sealed United's success, Gianfranco Amoroso scoring a Buckingham consolation five minutes from time.
