Wednesday, 12 September 2012

Huntingdon made it three wins in four league games with this victory at Jubilee Park.

Victor Torres put Town in front from close range after 28 minutes and two minutes later the home lead was doubled by Stuart Eason's fourth goal of the season.

Adam Rothery put Yaxley back in the game, scoring at the second attempt to cut the deficit after 36 minutes and getting in behind the home defence to square the contest in the first minute of the second half.

A turning point was a disputed 63rd minute penalty awarded to Huntingdon for Aaron Butcher's challenge on Eason and converted by Craig Green.

Three minutes into added time a foul by Cuckoos keeper Butcher on Town debutant Ben Seymour-Shave saw the keeper dismissed and Green sealed his side's success from the spot kick.
