Boston Town  1    Long Buckby  2

Saturday, 26 January 2008

Boston's title hopes suffered a setback with this defeat against rivals for honours Long Buckby.

Ryan Nash gave the Bucks a 29th minute lead, collecting a pass from Dan Burke and cutting in from the right to fire home, but the Poachers produced the best possible response with a Nathan Collins squaliser on the half hour, a header from a Paul Goodhand free kick.

Ben Foster's 26th goal of the season a quarter of an hour from time gave the visitors all three points. The striker collected a long ball from Jon Crockett and beat two defenders before shooting home.
