Burton defied history to move off the foot of the Division One table.
The Badgers had won this fixture in eleven successive seasons and looked set to extend the sequence when Dan Brown opened the scoring on the half hour.
Darren Halfyard levelled five minutes before the break.
Burton were reduced to ten men with half an hour remaining but they stunned the Badgers and Halfyard's second goal with thirteen minutes remaining saw Park Wanderers to their third win of the season and their first on opposition soil.
