Lowestoft Town 3 Blackstones 2

Stones made a disappointing Vase exit on the east coast as Lowestoft claimed a second UCL scalp during their run in the national competition.
Liam Harrold gave Blackstones the lead after 22 minutes, converting a cross from the right from close range, and Stones then squandered chances to go further in front with Phil Stebbing twice losing out in one on ones with the home keeper and Kevin Ainslie and Harrold also going close. Stones were pegged back four minutes before the break, Bradley Hough levelling for the Ridgeons side with a 30 yard first time shot from Jamie Godbold's long pass.
Two goals in the space of five second half minutes but the Blues in charge, with Darren Cockerill's 70th minute quickly taken free kick catching the visitors out. That was followed by a Gary Magee goal a quarter of an hour from time after Hough and Godbold combined on the right.
Harrold converted a 78th minute penalty, awarded for Hough's foul on Stebbing, to put Stones back in the game but they were unable to find an equaliser in the remaining twelve minutes.
Blackstones: Ian Flavell, Robbie Blowers, Trevor Smith (Andy Boome), Paul Sheehan, Richard Jones, Ross Watson, Dan Cotton, Luke Kennedy (Nathan Steele), Liam Harrold, Phil Stebbing, Kevin Ainslie.
