After halting their losing run on the final Saturday of 2007 Kempston were unable to carry on their improvement as they were swept aside by Ar Tarn at the Waterworks Field.

Raoul Limoan's 17th minute own goal handed Desborough the lead and they soon doubled their advantage with a debut goal from Paul Caswell five minutes later.

Seven minutes before the interval Danny Pownall added Ar Tarn's third goal with an overhead kick and they added two more goals after the break.

Jamie O'Neill put his name on the scoresheet after 51 minutes with Tom Mills completing the nap hand three minutes after the hour.
