Long Buckby  5    Holbeach United  0

Saturday, 29 December 2007

Long Buckby's experienced side are moving into title contention and this was their twelfth league match without defeat.

Jason Lee gave the Bucks the lead from twelve yards from a Ryan Nash cross after twelve minutes with Ben Foster adding a second two minutes before the break, collecting a free kick and firing home with the aid of a deflection off Matt Warfield.

Richard Bunting's 59th minute third, a left foot shot after Nash and Simon Underwood combined, all but ended the match as a contest and two more goals in the closing stages completed the Bucks' nap hand.

Foster scored his 25th goal of the season after 85 minutes, heading in Craig Kell'y cross at the near post, and recent signing Simon Underwood opened his Buckby goal account two minutes from the end.
