Eynesbury Rovers  1    Huntingdon Town  2

Wednesday, 26 December 2007

Dean Shipp's managerial reign at Hall Road ended on a low note as Rovers lost against their local rivals.

Nicky Young gave Huntingdon the lead after seven minutes, converting a Chris Caswell cross from close range, and a Chris Caswell penalty after 21 minutes, awarded for a foul by Danny Workman on Paul Caswell, left the visitors in control.

David Watts set up Neil Morris to score an 88th minute Eynesbury consolation from the edge of the box and Shipp handed in his resignation after the match.
