Two stoppage time goals wrapped up Wellingborough's win against struggling Wootton whose new manager Roger Burr takes over on Boxing Day.

The Doughboys' own recently appointed boss Les Hornby was missing for this one with deputies Nick Verity and Rob Gould enjoying a successful day at the helm.

Cornell Haughton gave Wellingborough the lead after 28 minutes but the outcome remained in the balance until time added on at the end of the contest. Jon Mitchell doubled the Doughboys in the first minute of stoppage time with Mark Hewitt converting a penalty two minutes later.
