Town made it twelve wins in succession as they brushed aside the out of form Lankies at Communications Park.

Daventry had to show patience as it took them 47 minutes to make the breakthrough with a Richard Wesley goal. Ten minutes later Tom Berwick raced clear of the visiting defence to score his 14th goal of the campaign and double the lead.

With a quarter of an hour remaining veteran striker Danny Finlay put his name on the scoresheet and Ryan Byrne completed the scoring with a deflected shot in the last minute.
