Rob Foster's hat trick gave the Cooks their first league win of the season and sent the champions crashing to a third defeat - equal to their 40 game tally in 2006-07.

A lively first half saw David Cobb give Deeping the lead on the quarter hour with Foster equalising twelve minutes later.

Cogenhoe went in front after 42 minutes with Foster's second goal, but Michael Stevenson levelled from the penalty spot in the final minute of the half after a foul on Danny Matson.

Andy Ellis hit the bar with a free kick in the closing minutes, but in the final minute Foster's fifth goal of the season direct from a free kick sealed the upset of the day.
