Boston Town 2 Blackstones 4
Tuesday, 11 December 2007
Leaders Blackstones completed a double over the Poachers thanks to a devastating opening spell which sent Boston tumbling to a third league loss in four outings.
Phil Stebbing opened the visitors' account after seven minutes and Richard Jones added a second five minutes later.
Liam Harrold scored a third for Stones after 14 minutes and extended the advantage to four eleven minutes later.
After a string of fine saves from Ian Flavell kept the home attack at bay, Gary Bull gave Boston a glimmer of hope two minutes before the interval.
The Poachers needed a second quickly on resumption but they had to wait until eleven minutes from time for Paul Goodhand to score and by then it was no more than a consolation.
