The Royals overturned an interval deficit to complete a double over the Wakes in this vital match in the lower reaches.

Liam Palmer gave Bourne the lead in the final minute of the first half from Scott Spearink's pass. 

The visitors were pegged back ten minutes after the restart by an equaliser from Craig Lanham who threaded his shot through a crowded penalty area from 25 yards.

After Mark Walklin's shot bounced to safety off both bar and post John Mulholland won the contest for Potton with the decisive goal, heading in Nathan Frater's free kick with eight minutes remaining.
