Yaxley 2 Boston Town 0
Saturday, 01 December 2007
Morning leaders Boston slipped off pole after a second successive defeat on their travels.
The unpredictable Cuckoos had one of their better days and are bow undefeated in this fixture over the last seven seasons.
Scott Bogusz opened the scoring six minutes before the break after the visiting defence failed to cut out a free kick and Yaxley's success was sealed six minutes from time by Mark Paul's 14th goal of the campaign. Lee Blewett's surging run created the chance for the Cuckoos top scorer to finish with a shot into the roof of the net.
