Division One

Huntingdon Town  2    Rushden & Higham United  0

Saturday, 01 December 2007

Huntingdon moved into second place as they extended their winning league run to four matches.

Chris Caswell gave Town the lead a minute before half time, applying the finishing touches to an Alyou Coaney pass at the conclusion of a flowing six man move, and the victory was wrapped up by Richard Moore's lob after 73 minutes.

Rushden & Higham had a good share of the possession but were let down by a lack of firepower.
