Sleaford Town 0 Deeping Rangers 4
Wednesday, 28 November 2007
Deeping moved to within three points of the Premier Division pace with this convincing success at Eslaforde Park.
Richard Thompson continued his good run of form with Rangers' sixth minute opener after latching on to Lee Ellison's through pass.
A foul by Kris Jones on Danny Matson gave Deeping a penalty on the quarter hour but Ellison fired wide from the spot. David Cobb doubled the lead after 23 minutes with the aid of a deflection after a mazy run.
With a quarter of an hour remaining Matson made the points safe for the visitors with a shot from a wide position and the scoring was completed by new signing Adam Weston four minutes from the end, the substitute converting a Scott Woods cross at the back post.
