Division One

Thrapston Town  3    Northampton Sileby Rangers  2

Saturday, 24 November 2007

One time Thrapston manager Gary Petts saw his current club beaten at Chancery Lane as Town overturned a two goal deficit to take the points.

Pete Smith gave struggling Rangers the lead after 21 minutes and an own goal by Lee Purser nine minutes later left Sileby looking at an end to their losing run at the break.

A double strike from Ben Morgan after 55 and 59 minutes hauled Thrapston on terms and Purser went from villain to hero with the home side's decider after 71 minutes.
