Sleaford Town  4    Raunds Town  0

Saturday, 10 November 2007

An outstanding first half display from Sleaford gave them a first top flight double and left the Shopmates anchored to the foot of the Premier Division.

Micky Stones opened the scoring after seven minutes, heading in Pete Sutton's cross and Matt Lunn doubled the home lead after 18 minutes with a snap shot.

Top scorer Jamie Shaw killed off the visiting challenge with further goals on the half hour and six minutes before the break. His first goal followed a mazy run and cross from Sutton with his second a header from a Jason Sedlan centre. Shaw was then denied a hat trick by a goalline clearance.
