St Neots Town  1    Long Buckby  3

Saturday, 10 November 2007

Recently appointed Saints management duo Ivan Finch and Iain Parr suffered their first defeat at the helm as Buckby adapted better to the blustery conditions to win at Rowley Park for the first time in 13 attempts.

Ben Foster gave Buckby the lead with a 26th minute volley from a lay off by strike partner Carl Holmes, but the Saints were level eight minutes later when Barrington Belgrave intercepted Danny Duggan's wayward back pass to steer the ball home.

Buckby went back in front after 72 minutes when Holmes headed in a cormer from Jason Lee.

Five minutes later Foster sealed the Bucks' win when he intercepted Mark Barry's clearance, beat a defender and fired home.
