Saturday, 03 November 2007

Stotfold halted a run of three games without a win by handing the Wakes a Roker drubbing.

Paul Garrett opened the scoring with a header from a Louis Lee cross after ten minutes and Callum Donnelly added a 23rd minute second from Joel Mason's square pass. On the stroke of half time Donnelly all but settled the contest with a third Eagles goal, Lee Allinson the provider this time.

Mason made it four two minutes before the hour mark, reacting first to stab the ball home after colliding with Wakes keeper Ben Derbyshire and Donnelly completed his hat trick in the final minute of the match after a fine Garrett run on the left.
